I am a bit disappointed with myself for the time I spend sitting about at the computer. The longer you do it, the greater your chances of devolving your future offspring and their offspring and so on. Yes, devolution. The human species as we know it will lose whatever few physical traits and instinct we had of survival in the course of a few generations. Our posture will change to accommodate sitting and slouching. Our legs may shorten in length as they are just limp objects as people serve their office overlords and walk and run shorter distances. Our lungs and hearts will degenerate since there are fewer situations where we need to exert ourselves physically. We no longer hunt nor do we flee from any dangers.
This is the age of decadence. The most intelligent(but not necessarily the strongest) species on the planet has wiped out all of its obstacles with the help of tools and technology. And once we were clear of problems, we presented ourselves with a new set of dangers - dangers we are helpless from. I present you disease, starvation, obesity, religion, global warming, and much more.
If you practiced filmmaking daily, running around with a handheld, perhaps one of your offspring or future generations will evolve into a three-legged, four-armed being - a potential for the ultimate filmmaker. With his/her/its three-legs (we'll call this being a 'he' for now), he will be able to run and gun and stabilize a camera. He may also have springy suspension like tension in his hip bones for extra smooth camera movement. The four arms - two for the camera, two for a boom. He has not evolved to have more arms for lighting and stuff but he is the most superior being yet. He can produce movies quiet effectively, a real one man crew. He will be awkward around women. Hence he will be asexual. Also, most people will probably be bipedal still around his time. Sucks to be him.
Viva la evolucion.
